We used the gite late September/early October 2023. It was in an amazing setting with spectacular views to Mont Ventoux. The gite was immaculately clean and well presented with all amenities available. Nicole and Jacky were very friendly and very helpful. We had a lost mobile phone which they kindly provided a temporary back up for- they answered any queries we had. Nicole actually walked with Rosie in the local district exploring ochre caves nearby. It is within walking distance of good restaurants, bars and shops. We could find no faults with this gite – it’s an excellent location for a break.

We had a simply perfect week’s holiday at Nicole and Jacky’s place. They are wonderful hosts – kind, friendly, helpful and hospitable – and the apartment is comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. There are uninterrupted views of the Ventoux from the private patio area (which has its own gas BBQ and enormous parasol) as well as from the good-sized swimming pool, which we had completely to ourselves. We plan to be back!
We’ve visited Villes-sur-Auzon several times and love the village. The boulangerie off the village square is great, and there is also a small supermarket and epicerie, all within walking distance of the apartment. Les P’tits Bonheurs is a fun place to eat out and Le Chérubin is a great family-owned pizzeria. Bigger towns like Bedoin, Mazan and Vaison-la-Romaine are within easy reach. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

I really don’t want to write a good review because when I book it again more people will want to stay and they might not be able to accommodate us !
The house was immaculate. In many gites this size the toilet is in the bedroom but this was beautifully laid out with lots of space in the bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. You have your own rustic private courtyard with views of Mount Ventoux to die for. A short walk into the village with all the shops you need and some not bad restaurants the best of which by a long way is Les P’tits Bonheurs which is excellent.
The hosts were brilliant not intrusive but told you a lot of local stuff walks etc. It would have been impossible for us to have enjoyed it more.
